About Me

Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety, self-doubt, or painful past experiences get in the way of living fully. I work with adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, ADHD, life transitions, and struggles with self-esteem or identity. My goal is to make you feel accepted no matter your circumstances, and to empower you to take your life back, to make your mind work for you rather than against you.

In therapy, I value authenticity, curiosity, resilience, and acceptance. My style is collaborative, reflective, and grounded in both humanistic and cognitive behavioral approaches. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that keep you stuck, untangle the influence of past experiences, and strengthen your relationship with yourself. I believe perspective is everything: life isn’t always easy, but with support, reframing, and dedication, real change is possible.

Much of my work centers on attachment, self-compassion, and learning to become your own best friend. I want my clients to know that mistakes don’t define them, how you adapt and move forward is what matters most. Healing isn’t about erasing your story, but about owning it and finding new ways to thrive. I also draw inspiration from voices like Brené Brown and Gabor Maté, who remind us that healing comes through self-understanding, acceptance, and courage.

Music is also central to both my life and my work. I believe songs can hold us in ways words sometimes cannot, offering resilience and reminding us we are not alone. In therapy, I often invite clients to reflect on music that resonates with them, whether it’s a song that speaks to their current experience or one that anchors them in strength and hope. For my clients who are artists and creatives, I understand how challenging it can be to navigate self-doubt, pressure, and the pursuit of dreams while staying grounded. I find it meaningful to help creative people harness their art as a source of healing, resilience, and self-discovery.

I worked at The Gateway Foundation doing both individual work and group work with patients struggling with substance use disorder. Achieving sobriety is one of life’s greatest transitions, and through helping clients achieve this I have witnessed profound change and undeniable proof that transformation is possible. That experience deepened my passion for helping people break free from cycles that no longer serve them and showed me the power of resilience and community in healing.

I am excited to begin my journey in private practice. My hope is that every client I work with walks away feeling more empowered, more compassionate with themselves, and more capable of creating the life they want to live.

  • I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. Twenty-six times I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed. - Micheal Jordan

  • Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do. - Brené Brown

  • Trauma is not what happens to you, but what happens inside you as a result of what happens to you. - Gabor Maté
