What is a Training Group?

 

This Online Modern Analytic Training Group Co-facilitated with Jim O'Hern, LCSW is for professionals in the mental health field interested in furthering their group training and leadership. The professional ego is the focus of the training group and all thoughts, feelings and associations to the process are explored in the online group. The group is a combination of case consultation, practice development, and experiential learning aimed at further developing connections to colleagues and strengthening the therapist’s professional ego. 

Women's Process Group

  • Wednesday 5pm - 6:15pm CST led by Dr. Stephanie Dykema

All Gender Interpersonal Process Group

  • Wednesdays, 5pm-6:30pm led by Dr. Constance Victor and Dr. Irina Rivera

  • BCBS, Cigna, and Self-pay ($50)

New Parent Support Group

  • Tuesdays, 9:00am CST, for 12 weeks led by Dr. Irina Rivera

  • A group for new or expecting parents to receive support, discuss the transition to parenthood, and explore their values and hopes.

  • BCBS, Cigna, and Self-pay ($50).

College Student Group

  • Fridays, 4:00-5:30pm CST led by Hannah Payne, LPC

  • The group is for fem and non-binary college students and is focused on relationship issues and receiving/giving support. Clients will have been in college for at least a year and can be in grad school if within the specified age range. The group will allow students to openly talk about dissatisfaction with the college experience, concerns within their personal lives, and difficulty building/maintaining relationships; the impact of the pandemic on all of these things will likely be highlighted as well.
