All Gender Interpersonal Process Groups

  • Wednesdays, 12:00-1:15pm CST via Zoom, led by Dr. Jeremy Cohen and Dr. Haley Braun

$70 per session. Cigna, Aetna, USHIP, and BCBS accepted. Sliding fee available.

 

  • Thursdays 3:00-4:15pm CST Via Zoom, led by Dr. Heather Frank and Dr. Kurt Stevens

What is a Process Group?

​​

In a process group you can expect to deepen your understanding of yourself and your patterns in relationships. The purpose of this group is to provide members a safe space to share authentically, gain support from others, give and receive interpersonal feedback to learn and grow, and practice new ways of engaging in relationships.

Online Modern Analytic Training Group for Therapists:

  • Monday 10am-11:15am CST co-led by Dr. Heather Frank and Jim O'Hern, LCSW (group is currently full)

  • Thursday 9:30am-10:45am CST co-led by Dr. Heather Frank and Jim O'Hern, LCSW

What is a Training Group?

 

This Online Modern Analytic Training Group Co-facilitated with Jim O'Hern, LCSW is for professionals in the mental health field interested in furthering their group training and leadership. The professional ego is the focus of the training group and all thoughts, feelings and associations to the process are explored in the online group. The group is a combination of case consultation, practice development, and experiential learning aimed at further developing connections to colleagues and strengthening the therapist’s professional ego. 

Women of Color Process Group

  • Wednesdays 3:00pm-4:15pm CST via Zoom, led by Dr. Nabila Irizarry

$60 per session. Cigna, Aetna, and BCBS accepted. Sliding fee available.

 

In this WOC process group, members can expect to increase their self-awareness of unexamined patterns and explore new ways of being and communicating that feel more authentic. Members will have the opportunity to explore narratives, thoughts, and emotions associated with the shared affinity of being a woman of color. The space is intended to offer  opportunities for identity affirmation, woman solidarity, and racial healing. 

Nurturing the Mother: A Process Group for New Mothers

  • Tuesdays, 11:30am-12:45pm CST via Zoom, led by Dr. Heather Frank

$70 per session. Cigna, Aetna, USHIP, and BCBS accepted.

 

Group runs for 12 weeks, with the option to continue in a long-term group. Possible opportunities to meet in person once per month.

 

An open space for new mothers to connect and build relationships; receive feedback and support; and create a more caring and compassionate space within themselves. This group is open to female identified folx with one child 2 years of age or under (participants may have additional children older than 2 as well).

Early Career Therapist Interpersonal Process Group

  • Mondays 7:00pm-8:15pm CST, In-person at 155 N Michigan Ave, Suite 707, Led by Alisha Hooda, MA and Beatrice Rothbaum, MA. $50 per session. Cigna, Aetna, and BCBS accepted. Sliding fee available.

 

This interpersonal process group provides a supportive space for early career therapists (either still in training or recent graduates) to cultivate self-awareness, foster personal growth, and hone therapeutic skills through experiential learning and feedback from local peers. Connect with local peers who understand your unique challenges and experiences! All types of training programs (LCPC, LMFT, MA, PHD, PSYD, MD, etc.) and theoretical orientations welcomed.
