About Me

Are you feeling stuck in your relationships, career, or sense of self and unsure what is holding you back? Whether you’re feeling dissatisfied in your relationships or career, struggling with low self-worth, navigating a life transition, or feeling depressed or anxious, I help adults of all ages explore the patterns that shape how they relate to themselves and others. My clients have often shared that processing their concerns with me in therapy has helped them better discover their authentic selves, emotionally heal from and improve their relationships, experience personal and interpersonal growth, and obtain deep-rooted change.

My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, individualized, and insight-oriented. I’ll work with you to make sense of how your salient past experiences might be impacting your current inner world and relationships with important others so that you can move towards having a more grounded, connected, and fulfilling life.

Before becoming a psychologist, I worked in public accounting and recruiting for several years. That lived experience helps me understand the real-world pressures that many clients face, especially around career stress, burnout, identity, and uncertainty as well as striving to obtain a more personally and relationally desired life outside of work.

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Illinois and obtained my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Prior to joining Chicago Counseling Collective in 2021, I worked as a staff clinician for eight years at the University of Illinois at Chicago Counseling Center. I completed my postdoctoral fellowship at Princeton University Counseling and Psychological Services in Princeton, NJ and my APA-accredited predoctoral internship at American University Counseling Center in Washington, D.C. I also previously trained for two consecutive years as an advanced practicum extern at DePaul University Counseling Services in Chicago.
