Post-Doctoral Fellowships


CCC will be offering 3 full-time postdoctoral fellowships in clinical psychology for Fall 2021. This is a supervised, 12-month position that has the potential to become a long term position at the practice. Start date of the position is negotiable depending on the circumstances and needs of practice and candidate. Competitive salary is offered which will commensurate with qualifications and experience. Postdoc fellows will provide individual, couple, and group psychotherapy working with adults. Candidate will also have opportunity to work with undergraduate and graduate students. Training opportunities include psychoanalytic supervision on cases, training in couples therapy, group psychotherapy training; including the opportunity to develop and facilitate a long term process group. Postdoc fellows will also have the opportunity to receive training in modern analytic group therapy. Additionally, group supervision and professional development related to starting a private practice will be provided.

Postdoctoral fellows will receive weekly individual and group supervision by an experienced licensed clinical psychologist.

Minimum qualifications:
Applicants must have completed all requirements for their doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from a regionally accredited university and an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship.

Applicants must be eligible to sit for licensure in the state of Illinois by the end of postdoctoral training.

Desired Qualifications:
A successful candidate must demonstrate strong interest in and experience with diverse clients, ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team, and have experience and passion for providing group psychotherapy. They must also demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as strong planning and organizational skills.
